Padded covers, board socks, day bags and boat racks

Why a cover matters. Wakesurfers are surprisingly fragile compared to wakeboards. The construction is lighter, the rails are sharper, and the fins are exposed. Without a cover, transport and storage are the two main damage sources — fin damage on car upholstery or in the boat, edge dings from being knocked against other gear, UV fade from sitting in the sun on a hot boat deck. Types in this collection. Padded day bags — full zip-up bags with padding. Protect against impacts and fin damage. Good for transport in the car, on the boat, and longer-term storage. Board socks (stretch covers) — slip-on neoprene-style covers with no padding. Protect against UV and minor knocks. Good for boat-deck storage between sets and short-distance transport. Lighter and cheaper than padded bags. Boat-mounted racks — not a cover. Holds the board securely on the boat (mounted to the bimini, tower or wakeboard rack). Different product, useful pair with a board sock for in-boat storage between sets. Foil board covers — selected foil board covers for wakefoilers. Foils are even more fragile than wakesurfers (sharp fins, fragile carbon mast and wing) and absolutely need a cover for transport. Brand spread. Masterline, Ronix, Follow, Liquid Force across the cover range. Pick by fit — board cover sizing varies by brand, so check the dimensions match your board before ordering. Sizing. Match the cover to your board’s length and outline shape. Most covers are sized for a length range (e.g. 4’8″-5’2″). A cover too tight won’t zip; a cover too loose flops around in transit and doesn’t protect the rails well. Manufacturer dimensions on each product page. Fin care. Always remove or pad the fins for storage and transport. Sharp wakesurf fins damage car upholstery, boat decks, and other boards in storage. Even with a padded cover, fin damage on the cover itself is common. Storage. Don’t leave the board in the cover in direct sun on a hot day — heat can soften the resin. Store the board flat or upright in a cool dry place. Don’t lean other heavy gear on top of the cover.
