SALE barefoot suits — previous-season and clearance models from Sands. Same construction and protection as current-season suits, marked down to clear.
Why this collection exists. Barefoot suit construction doesn’t change dramatically year on year — the buoyancy foam, the impact-zone reinforcement, the cut, the seam construction are all worked out. What changes between seasons is mostly graphics, colourways, and occasional small construction tweaks. Last season’s stock that didn’t sell through ends up here at clearance prices, with the same protection and the same buoyancy as the current year’s models. What’s typically here. Currently Sands Titan in Black, Yellow and Red — mens cut. The Titan is a solid mid-range barefoot suit, fine for freeriders who don’t need tournament-spec gear and want a real saving. Stock turns over fast in barefoot — it’s a smaller market with smaller production runs, so when sizes run out they’re gone for the season. Don’t drop your standards just because it’s on sale. Same care, same fit rules apply. Snug is essential — the buoyancy foam has to sit firmly against your body, otherwise it doesn’t do its job. If you’re between sizes, go down. L50S certification varies. Some barefoot suits are L50S-rated (counts as your life vest), some aren’t. Check the product page. If the suit isn’t certified, you still need to wear a separate L50S life vest over the top for legal compliance. Care doesn’t change. Rinse in fresh water after every session. Hang dry away from direct sun. Don’t fold long-term — hang on a wide hanger so the suit holds its shape. Returns. Same 60-day return policy as full-price gear, new and unused only.
Yes. Barefoot suit construction doesn’t change dramatically year on year — the buoyancy foam, the impact-zone reinforcement and the fit pattern are all settled. What changes is mostly graphics and colourways. A previous-season suit gives you the same buoyancy and the same impact protection as the current model. You’re saving on the year tag, not on the spec.
Previous-season stock that didn’t sell through at full price. Barefoot is a niche sport so production runs are small — when a colourway doesn’t move, it lands here. Nothing wrong with the suit. Construction, protection and buoyancy are unchanged from the current model.
Depends on the suit. Some barefoot suits are L50S-certified so they meet the legal life vest requirement on their own. Others provide buoyancy but aren’t certified — you’d still need to wear a separate L50S life vest over the top for legal compliance. Check the certification on each product page. The Sands Titan currently in this collection is not L50S-certified — wear a separate vest over it.
Same 60-day return policy as full-price gear — new and unused, all tags on. Barefoot suits are soft goods, so they can’t be returned in used condition. Before assuming the suit doesn’t fit, double-check the size chart — barefoot suits should fit snug like a compression layer, much tighter than a casual neoprene wetsuit.
