Toonboarding Unleashed
Our wakeboarding game is next, and it runs on the same engine as Toon Skiers World; so all the physics, polish and settings work carries straight over from day one. There's a free ride behind the wakeboat, a judged wake tournament, wakesurfing in the pocket, a five tower cable park and wakefoiling, all with their own boards and their own feel.
It's still early (these are first look screenshots) but it's coming along fast, and we'll be posting updates as the tricks land.

Why ours
Real skiing, wrapped in a cartoon
Every water sports game we'd played before treated the boat, the rope and the wake as scenery; you pressed a button and the skier did a turn. We started from the opposite end. The physics came first (how a ski sets an edge, how much the rope is actually pulling, what the wake does behind a tournament boat at 36 mph) and the cartoon went on top once it all behaved properly.
As such, what works on the water works in the game. Load against the rope, change edges on time and glide out wide before the ball, and you'll run the course; get lazy and you'll get pulled over the front, same as real life.

Every ski rides like the real one
Each ski is modelled off its real shape and construction, so two skis from our range genuinely feel different. The rope carries real tension, the wake builds from the boat's speed and ballast, and wind will push you around if you let it.

Spray off the ski and the boat, glassy water you can carve up, instant replays of your best jumps and worst crashes, video tutorials for every event, a first person camera and a drone that chases you down the river.

iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows or Mac; in a browser or installed to your home screen. Touch, tilt, keyboard, plug-and-play Xbox and PlayStation controllers, or a VR headset. The game measures your device the first time it loads and sets the graphics up for you, and every setting is still there if you want to tweak it.
Become a Registered Skier
Anyone can play as a guest and post to the leaderboards. If you're 18 or older you can also log in with your Waterskiers World account (the profile button at the top right of the main menu), which gets you:
- your skier, boat, ski graphics, settings and scores on every device you play on;
- the Registered Competitor tick on the boards, which makes your runs eligible for the competitions and prizes we run [link the competition terms here once the first one is announced];
- your in-game name on the boards, never your real name or email, and no marketing emails just for logging in.

Built by skiers, for skiers
Water Sports Games is developed in house at Waterskiers World. Our experienced skiers and riders work alongside our technical staff on every ski, board, boat and wake in the games; the riders tell us how it should feel, the technical team works out why it feels that way, and nothing goes in until it feels like the real thing on the water. We've used our unparalleled industry experience to make the skis in game feel right to play.

FAQ
Are the games really free?
Yes. No purchases, no ads and no subscription.
Do I need an account to play?
No. Anyone can play as a guest and post to the leaderboards. Logging in is only needed to keep your profile across devices, or to be eligible for competitions and prizes.
Is there an age limit?
Anyone can play as a guest. Logging in, becoming a Registered Skier, entering a competition or claiming a prize is for players 18 and over, and the game asks you to confirm that before it sends you to the login. Playing as a guest? Please don't use your real name as your skier name.
What do I need to run it?
Most phones, tablets and computers from the last few years will run it, and the game picks its own graphics settings for your device. If it ever feels slow, choose Performance in Settings › Graphics.
Should I install a game or the WSG Launcher?
Whichever suits you. The WSG Launcher holds every game in one app and keeps them all ready to play offline, so it's the easy option if you want both. If you only ever play one, install that game on its own; it's the same game either way and both update themselves.
When is Toonboarding Unleashed coming out?
When it's ready; we'd rather it ride properly than ship early. Follow along here and on our socials for updates.
