Ski gear on sale — previous-season slalom skis, ski boots and waterski gloves. Last season’s models at clearance prices. From Radar, HO, Follow and Masterline.
What this is: previous-season slalom ski gear that’s been moved to clearance. The mix changes as stock rotates. Why previous season matters less for slalom gear. Slalom skis have longer model cycles than wake gear — a Vapor or Senate or Hovercraft platform typically carries through two or three seasons before a meaningful redesign. Graphics and trim update each year. The discount comes from age, not from any drop in capability. When previous-season is worth chasing: high-end tournament skis. The Vapor and Syndicate Works ranges are expensive new — buying last season’s at clearance is the cleanest way into tournament-spec slalom for less. Categories typically here: slalom skis (often including tournament-spec), slalom ski boots, waterski gloves. Brand spread varies as stock moves through but typically includes Radar, HO, Follow and Masterline. Stock and sizes. Clearance means once it’s gone, it’s gone. Slalom ski sizing is weight-and-speed specific — if your bracket is in stock, don’t wait. These don’t restock. Where to find current-season versions. The Mens Slalom Skis, Womens Skis, Kids Water Skis, Slalom Ski Boots and Water Ski Gloves collections have the full current-season range. Manufacturer warranty applies to sale items the same as full-price gear. Clearance status doesn’t change warranty terms or consumer rights. Worth checking back — the collection changes whenever previous-season ski stock gets cleared.
Yes for most products, and often more so than wake gear. Slalom ski platforms (Vapor, Senate, Hovercraft, Big Daddy, Syndicate Works) typically carry through two or three seasons before a meaningful redesign — the year-to-year change is usually graphics and trim, not core construction. The performance difference between last-season and current-season slalom gear is rarely noticeable to most skiers. Tournament skis in a genuine redesign year are the exception.
Sale means clearance — once a length sells through, it’s gone. Slalom skis are sized by weight and boat speed, so the bracket that fits you may be limited. The size selector on each product page shows current stock. If your size is showing, don’t wait — it won’t restock.
For most riders ready for one, yes. Tournament skis like the Radar Vapor or HO Syndicate Works ranges are expensive new — the discount on a previous-season model often makes the difference between “can justify it” and “can’t.” The ride is the same. The exception: if the platform has had a meaningful redesign in the new season (which doesn’t happen every year), you may be buying a generation behind. Worth a quick call to confirm before clicking buy if you’re unsure.
Yes. Standard 12-month manufacturer warranty applies to sale items the same as full-price items, and clearance status doesn’t change your Australian Consumer Law rights either. Note: impact damage — handle strikes, hits on shallow water or obstacles — is never covered under warranty, sale item or not. That’s the most common cause of slalom ski damage. Take care during deep-water starts.
