WHO WE ARE

If you love a sport, you want the best equipment. This is the philosophy that led Ross Angel to start his small shop dedicated to high-end waterski equipment over 20 years ago.

Since then we have kept that spirit alive, growing to a larger store in Brisbane and expanding our range of premium watersports products. Today we stock the highest quality waterskis, wakeboards, wakesurfers, tubes, kneeboards, life vests, wetsuits, jetski gear, barefoot gear and anything else you need for an awesome day out on the boat or at the cable park.

We are sunrise starts for that glassy water and pulling the boat in after dark for the same reason. We are charging the wake for the hundredth time to nail that new trick and lapping the cable park ‘til your hands are raw. We are elbow to the water turns on open water and digging deep to get round that sixth buoy on the slalom course. We share your passion and that means we’ll always give you the best advice when it comes to having fun on the water.

OUR STORY

Waterskiers World is proudly a family owned and operated business run by Ross, Garreth & Melissa Angel.

Ross has been involved in waterskiing his entire life. He started skiing on the causeway in Yeppoon as a young boy with his family and went on to win numerous State and National titles in both barefooting and three event skiing. Ross still ski’s competitively, recently taking out the Queensland Over 60s State Title for slalom, jump and trick!

This passion for the sport passed down to his children Garreth and Melissa; who grew up waterskiing and wakeboarding. Once a competitive ski racer, slalom skier & wakeboarder, Garreth still regularly gets out on the water with his young family while Mel continues to waterski competitively in slalom events across the country.

The Angel family’s passion for watersports is well known in Queensland, Australia and the industry. Their knowledge, experience and dedication to the sport and its participants is what sets Waterskiers World apart from rest.
