Why a package. A wakeboard package bundles a board with matched bindings (boots) at a better combined price than buying the two separately. Connelly’s package range is built around their core wakeboard shapes paired with their Optima and Empire boots, in beginner and intermediate cuts. What’s currently in the range. Connelly Surge with Optima Boots — kids beginner package. Easier-to-ride shape, forgiving on edge, good progression board. Connelly Lotus with Optima Boots — womens beginner package. Wide stable platform for first-timer womens riders. Connelly Pure with Optima Boots — mens beginner package. Wider, more forgiving board for new riders. Connelly Big Easy with Optima Boots — mens intermediate package. The Big Easy is a well-known oversized cruiser — easy starts, big landings, lots of float. Good for heavier riders or those moving past pure-beginner gear. Connelly Reverb with Empire Boots — mens intermediate package. Stiffer rocker, more pop off the wake, sharper edge response. The performance step up. Boot variants. The Optima is Connelly’s beginner-to-intermediate boot — forgiving, soft flex, easy entry. The Empire is firmer with more lateral support — better for riders pushing edge and pop. Both are open-toe in the package configurations. Skill range. This collection covers Beginner and Intermediate only. No advanced Connelly packages currently in stock. Advanced riders typically buy board and boots separately for finer matching. Boat boards only. All Connelly packages in this collection are boat boards — not built for cable park obstacles. Hitting a rail or kicker with a boat board causes impact damage that isn’t covered under warranty.
