How ZUP Boards Work

ZUP makes a single tow board you can ride in four positions — lying down, kneeling, sitting and standing — which is what makes it such an easy first step onto the water for kids, families and nervous beginners. The board has its own moulded handles and a footstrap, and you ride it together with the DoubleZup tow handle: hold the board handle and the tow handle, get pulled up gently, and move from lying to standing as your confidence grows. There's no need to commit to one stance the way you would on a wakeboard or ski. The range steps up as riders progress. The You Got This boards are the core learn-to-ride models in two sizes, the Coast 80 is a compact entry board, and the Do More is the performance board for riders ready to carve, spin and ride standing. Bundles pair a board with the DoubleZup handle and rope so you have everything to get started. Starts should be gentle and progressive — easy on the throttle and let the board do the lifting. As with any towed board, every rider needs an approved life vest, and kids must be in a vest sized for their weight, never an adult one.
