Description

The Armstrong TC Hex fuselage is a ground breaking work of art in terms of engineering and design...

Armstrong A+ System TC Fuselage

The new system locks the mast and wings to the A+System TC Fuselage while maintaining our unique flex characteristics. The flex you can feel in the system comes from the carbon/titanium fuselage itself and our tapered Reactive Flex Mast construction, which is at the heart of the smooth flowing Armstrong feeling.

The new A+System has been developed by Armie to handle the new generation of mid to high aspect wings, which produce massive torsional leverage forces. To improve durability, longevity and performance the A+System has full width Titanium Barrel Nuts across both mast and front wing connections to lock them in position. The tail wing connection has been simplified, streamlined and strengthened and now incorporates a simple polycarbonate shim system.

TC50The TC50 allows huge maneuverability and is suited to surf rippers and advanced Kiters.

TC60The TC60 is the perfect blend of maneuverability and stability, ideal for intermediate riders and up!

TC70: The TC70 is our most popular fuselage for rookies and intermediate riders because it is smooth and forgiving.

Available Sizes: TC50cm, TC60cm, TC70cm

Features
  • The fuselage has a solid titanium core running throughout its length.
  • The core is then shrouded in 5mm solid wall carbon tube.
  • The multi-wing hex fitting for the mast and front wing give 360 degree surface contact, maximising the load distributing area

The fuselage is the central spine of an Armstrong foil that connects the mast to the front and rear wings. The A+ System TC fuselage locks the mast and wings in place while carrying Armstrong's signature reactive flex, and it is built to handle the high torsional loads of modern mid- to high-aspect wings.
It comes in TC50, TC60 and TC70. The TC50 is the most manoeuvrable, for surf rippers and advanced riders; the TC60 balances manoeuvrability and stability for intermediates and up; and the TC70 is the most popular, smooth and forgiving choice for beginners and intermediates.
It has a solid titanium core running its full length, shrouded in a 5 mm solid-wall carbon tube, with full-width titanium barrel nuts locking the mast and front-wing connections and a polycarbonate shim system at the tail wing. The multi-wing hex fitting gives 360-degree contact to spread the load.
Wakefoiling means riding a board fitted with a hydrofoil - a mast with wings that lifts the board clear of the water so you glide silently above the surface behind the boat, and can even ride the boat's wake without a rope. The large front wing provides lift, the smaller rear wing (stabiliser) controls pitch, and the mast connects the foil to the board. It takes some practice, but the ride is smooth and low-impact once you are flying.
