Armstrong Mike Murphy Pro Carbon Foil

Designed in close collaboration with Mike, the Mike Murphy Carbon Pro 900 is a dedicated low-lift wake foil specifically intended for roped wake riding. Its low aspect ratio platform and flat section create a very forgiving and easy flying experience for first time wake foilers. The compact outline and modest sensitivity to rider input also facilitates roped freestyle tricks at speed. The MMCP900 is only available in a single size.

Constructed from 100% monolithic carbon.

    The Armstrong MMCP 900 is a low-aspect wake foil front wing built for roped wake riding behind a boat. Developed with foiling pioneer Mike Murphy, its flat, forgiving platform helps first-time wake foilers fly easily and also handles freestyle tricks at speed.
    The Armstrong MMCP 900 comes in a single size only, with a 900 square centimetre area, a 509mm wingspan and an aspect ratio of 2.9. This low-aspect shape suits wake foil riders of all weights looking for easy, forgiving flight.
    The Armstrong MMCP 900 front wing pairs with Armstrong fuselages and stabilisers. Beginners can run it with the TC70 fuselage and CF300 stabiliser, while intermediate and advanced riders suit the TC50 fuselage with an HS232 or HA195 stabiliser.
    Wakefoiling means riding a board fitted with a hydrofoil - a mast with wings that lifts the board clear of the water so you glide silently above the surface behind the boat, and can even ride the boat's wake without a rope. The large front wing provides lift, the smaller rear wing (stabiliser) controls pitch, and the mast connects the foil to the board. It takes some practice, but the ride is smooth and low-impact once you are flying.
