Designed with input from world-class barefooters and waterskiers, the Barefoot International Deluxe Quad Contour Boom combines aircraft-grade materials with a simplified quick-release clamp for unrivalled safety, stability, and reliability. Two braided steel cables attach to the bow for enhanced horizontal stability. Ideal for ski schools and learning environments, and fits inboard competition ski boats with a side windshield frame more than 8 inches aft of the pylon.

  • Fits direct drive boats with a center mounted pylon
    • MUST be a factory pylon, booms should NOT be attached to an after-market pylon
    • CAN be used with tapered pylons because the bend allows it to mount below the taper
  • Contour bend moves the boom 14” back from the pylon so it will fit boats where the windshield extends past the pylon or there is a tower mount in the way
  • Compatible with Height Adjuster(B107) and Boom Extension(B110) accessories
    • B107 changes boom height with one quick release pin
    • B110 can be used to push the user further from the side of the boat to get them out of the chine spray.
  • Regularly apply clear silicone grease to the quick release pins to keep them working properly
  • Perfect for beginners and ski schools because you can drive slower

It is a pylon-mounted barefoot boom whose contour bend moves the boom 14 inches back from the pylon, for inboard competition ski boats where the windshield frame sits more than 8 inches aft of the pylon or a tower mount is in the way. It can be used with tapered pylons because the bend mounts below the taper, and it must be a factory pylon.
It works with the Height Adjuster (B107) and the Boom Extension (B110), the same as the other pylon-mounted booms.
A barefoot boom is a rigid bar that extends out from the side of the boat so a skier can hold on close to the hull while learning and practising barefooting. It keeps the skier in clean water beside the boat and lets a coach watch and talk them through technique, which is why booms are the standard tool for learning barefoot starts.
Rinse boom bars, extensions and fittings in fresh water after use, especially in salt water, and dry them before storage. Keep the quick-release pins releasing smoothly with a light clear silicone grease, and check that set screws, clamps and cables are tight and undamaged before each session.
