Combo water skis are a pair of skis designed for learning and recreational skiing. They give a stable, forgiving platform to get up and ski on two skis, and most sets let you drop a ski to progress toward slalom. They suit beginners and families, with sizes for kids through to adults.
Combo skis are sized mainly by the skier's weight (and to a lesser extent boat speed), with shorter skis for children and lighter skiers and longer skis for adults. Check the product's recommended weight range and size against the skier before ordering.
Recreational combo skiing is typically done at a comfortable planing speed adjusted to the skier's weight and confidence — lighter and younger skiers ski slower, adults a little faster. Start slow while learning and increase gradually. Check the product for any specific speed guidance.

Success for "first-timers"

Had 6 juniors from 6 to10 years all succeed on their first attempt at skiing on these Connelly Cadets. The front bar provided great stability and attached handle definitely helped their success
