Description

Connelly Carbon V Slalom Ski

When refining their Carbon V ski, Connelly took one of the most advanced designs and amplified its capabilities. Crafted in the U.S.A., this slalom ski features Connelly's innovative Versatail, geometries, core tech, fiber blends, and V-Tech for superior performance. Skelecore, a uniquely developed core shaping process, efficiently reduces the core weight and encourages fiber flexibility. A 50/50 carbon/glass blend results in an impressively light, responsive, and shock-resistant ski.

VERSATAIL
While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Connelly's patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the Connelly Carbon V.

VT= Connelly's stock tail shape — designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake.
VS= The square tail provides more support at the tail, keeping the tip down through the turn and generating more speed between the buoys.
VR=The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the water into the turn, adding control at higher speeds for quicker turns and reduced tail blowouts.

CONNELLY TEMPEST SKI BINDING

The Tempest binding features a redesigned wrap with fewer seams to create a more cohesive fit around your foot. 3D molding increases rigidity in key areas for added response, creating a better connection between you and your ski. Dual lace zones let you customize fit over the top of your foot and around your ankle. Connelly molded toe features a stretch panel ensuring that it stays flush on any foot whether it’s narrow, wide, tall, or short.

Available Sizes: 4-7, 7-9, 9-11, 12-14

Carbon V

Whole experience was excellent. I ordered the ski on Sunday night and it arrived in Sydney by Tuesday. Well wrapped and packaged so the ski was not damaged in Freight. The ski is amazing, so responsive in turns and fast across the wake. Perfect ski for someone looking to push it hard.
