Yes, it is designed as an easy learning board. Double edge rails add grip and confidence on the wave, and three removable tail fins let you tune the feel: beginners can run all three for stability, while more advanced riders can use two side fins or a single centre fin.
A compression construction over an EPS foam core, a full EVA deck pad, and three 1.75-inch removable Skater tail fins for a customisable feel. It is available with a surf rope as an all-in-one package.
It is a surf-style board, giving beginners stable drive and grip on the wave as they learn.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board. Board style matters too, as skim boards are usually ridden shorter than surf boards. Check the size guide or ask our team for a recommendation.
