CONNELLY ROCKET SLALOM SKI

Lift off with the all-new Connelly Rocket, built using the design principles of the flagship C1 but scaled to suit the 28-32mph skier. The innovative Versatail has revolutionised how you can personalise a ski to help reach your potential. The Rocket’s PU core & fiberglass layup give a balanced platform, allowing skiers to maximise their ability without having to work as hard. The additional width & altered sidewall height in the tip/tail combine everything Connelly have learnt over the last 58yrs.

VERSATAIL
While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Connelly's patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the V.

VT= Connelly's stock tail shape — designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake.
VS= The square tail provides more support at the tail, keeping the tip down through the turn and generating more speed between the buoys.
VR=The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the water into the turn, adding control at higher speeds for quicker turns and reduced tail blowouts.

Available Sizes: 65", 67", 69"

CONNELLY TEMPEST SKI BINDING

The Tempest binding features a redesigned wrap with fewer seams to create a more cohesive fit around your foot. 3D molding increases rigidity in key areas for added response, creating a better connection between you and your ski. Dual lace zones let you customize fit over the top of your foot and around your ankle. Connelly molded toe features a stretch panel ensuring that it stays flush on any foot whether it’s narrow, wide, tall, or short.

Available Sizes: 4-7, 7-9, 9-11, 12-14

The Connelly Rocket comes in 65, 67 and 69 inch lengths. Choose your size from your weight and the speed you ski. Heavier riders and lower speeds suit the longer 69, while lighter riders running quicker sit well on the 65. The Rocket is aimed at skiers running 28 to 32 mph.
The Connelly Rocket suits intermediate skiers running 28 to 32 mph who want to progress without fighting the ski. It borrows the design principles of the flagship C1, scaled to that speed, with a PU core and fiberglass layup giving a balanced platform that lets you ski harder more easily.
The Connelly Rocket gives a balanced, forgiving platform thanks to its PU core and fiberglass layup, wider tip and altered sidewall height. Its VersaTail system includes VT, VS and VR tail blocks, so you can tune how water flows off the tail to match your style and speed.
Slalom ski size is based on both your body weight and the boat speed you ski at: heavier skiers and higher speeds need a longer ski, while lighter skiers or slower speeds suit a shorter one. Most manufacturers publish a size chart based on weight and speed, and our team can help you match the right length. Check the size guide or fin and tech information on the listing.
Some slalom skis are sold as a complete package with boots and a rear toe plate fitted, while others are sold as the ski only so you can add your own bindings. Check the product title and description to see what's included.
