The Fly High W755 is a 1-1/8" one-way check valve for aftermarket automated ballast systems, preventing siphoning. Both ends carry 1-1/8" barbs with a black rubber flapper in the middle to control flow direction.
The W755 uses 1-1/8" barbs to suit larger 1-1/8" ballast hose, where the W753 is sized for 1" hose — pick the valve that matches your plumbing diameter. Both are one-way valves that stop siphoning in automated ballast systems.
Ballast plumbing fittings — quick-connect couplers, elbows, straight connectors, adaptors, plugs, and caps — join your ballast bags, hoses, and pump into a sealed system. Adaptors convert between thread and connector types (such as GHT, NPT, or a brand's quick-connect) so different components work together.
Match the fitting to the thread or connector type and hose size on your existing ballast components. Systems use different standards (GHT, NPT, and brand quick-connects like Flow-Rite or Quick Lok), so check what your bags, hoses, and pump use, or contact us with your setup to confirm.
Often yes — mixing brands or thread types usually needs an adaptor to connect them. If all your components already share the same fitting standard, no adaptor is required. Check the connector types across your bags, hoses, and pump before ordering.
Ballast plumbing commonly uses 3/4", 1", 1-1/8", or 1-1/2" hose and fittings. Match the fitting size to your hose and system, and use hose clamps to secure barbed connections. Check the product listing for each fitting's size.
Apply PTFE thread tape to threaded connections and hand-tighten firmly without over-tightening, which can crack plastic fittings. Make sure quick-connect couplers are fully seated and O-rings are clean and intact. Check all connections after the first fill and re-seal any that seep.
