It is a training tool for barefoot beginners that gives full support and makes it very hard to fall, so riders can focus on foot and body positioning instead of balance. It is one of the most useful tools for learning to barefoot.
Use it only with Barefoot International booms. Other booms may have weaker clamps that can fail under the high loads the Easy Footer creates.
A barefoot boom is a rigid bar that extends out from the side of the boat so a skier can hold on close to the hull while learning and practising barefooting. It keeps the skier in clean water beside the boat and lets a coach watch and talk them through technique, which is why booms are the standard tool for learning barefoot starts.
