The Jetpilot Pacer Ladies Neo Shorts are women's 1mm 360 limestone neoprene shorts for warmth and flex behind the boat, with an internal drawstring and glideskin leg-cuff seals to hold position. They come in several inseams — 2.5", 5", 7" and 9", plus high-waist options — in sizes 6–16.
The Jetpilot Pacer Ladies Neo Shorts run from a short 2.5" inseam up to a 9", plus high-waist versions — a shorter inseam gives more leg freedom and a longer one adds thigh coverage and warmth. All use the same 1mm limestone neoprene with glideskin cuff seals; pick the length by how much coverage you want.
Neoprene thickness is chosen for water temperature. Thinner neoprene (around 1.5–2 mm), as used in neo shorts and spring suits, suits warmer conditions and maximises flexibility, while thicker 3 mm and steamer-weight suits add warmth for cooler Australian water. Check each product's listing for its specific thickness.
Neoprene should fit snugly with no loose gaps, as trapped water reduces warmth — a tight fit is correct and eases slightly with use. Size using the brand's size chart for the garment (full suits use height and chest or weight; shorts use waist and hip). If you're between sizes, size up for comfort during longer sessions.
Rinse in fresh water after every use and dry in the shade, never in a tumble dryer or direct sunlight, which degrade neoprene over time. Avoid sharp folding — hang on a wide hanger. A light application of neoprene conditioner at the start of each season helps extend its life.
