The short-finger cut is for riders who want bar feel above hand coverage. With the fingertips exposed, you keep direct skin contact with the bars and switches — critical for trim adjustments, kill-switch grabs, and the kind of fine throttle modulation that gets lost behind even thin glove fabric. The trade-off is less sun protection on the fingertips, but for stand-up racers and aggressive sit-down riders, the feedback gain is worth it.
Best for warm-water Australian conditions where cold isn't the issue. Less suited to winter or southern riding where exposed fingertips will turn into a liability. The Black/Red colourway is the most popular in the short-finger range, with the palm grip matching the full-finger RX standard.

Good gloves and fits well
Fit well with nice grip. Keep hands warm. But the fingers are freezing cold during early morning ride in winter time. Would recommend for warm weather use. Staff in store was informative and helpful.
