The Liquid Force El Guapo comes in two sizes, 5'2" and 5'6". Larger riders or anyone wanting more float and glide will lean toward the 5'6", while lighter riders can hold the 5'2". Check our wakesurf size guide to match a board to your weight and skill.
The Liquid Force El Guapo is built with DuraSurf construction and a longboard rocker line for durable, easy glide. A single-to-double concave hull with a spoon concave nose, soft catch-free rails and an adjustable 6.5" centre fin let riders tune the ride looser or tighter.
The Liquid Force El Guapo is a surf-style longboard. It rides on a single centre fin with a concave hull that drives steady speed and long, drawn-out carves, rather than the loose spin-and-slide feel of a skim board. Adjust the fin to loosen or tighten the ride.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board.
