Masterline Performance Long V Handle

The Masterline Performance Long V is a recreational water ski handle built around a 5' Long V section that makes deep water starts easier on a slalom or combo ski. The wide V keeps the rope spread on the start so the ski tracks straight out of the water.

The handle bar runs a 28mm-diameter brushed rubber grip with built-in float in the V section, keeping the assembly on the surface between rides. The brushed rubber grip gives positive hand contact and holds up well to repeated sessions.

Choose the Performance Long V Handle if you find deep water starts hard work or want a step up from the Classic Long V with a brushed rubber grip rather than EVA.

Ski handle grips are typically EVA or rubber. EVA grips give a secure, comfortable hold in wet conditions with less hand fatigue, while rubber grips are hard-wearing. Most adult slalom handles are 13" wide to suit average hand spans, with narrower widths available for smaller hands. Check the product listing for each handle's grip material and width.
Standalone handles are sold without a mainline — the rope is purchased separately. Rope-and-handle packages include both. Check the product title and description to confirm whether you're buying a handle only, a mainline only, or a complete package.
Rinse your handle in fresh water after every use to remove chlorine, salt, and lake sediment. Store it out of direct sunlight, as UV exposure degrades EVA grip material over time. Inspect the end caps and line connections regularly for wear before each session.
