The Masterline Pro Short V Rope and Handle Radius is a course-grade water ski rope and handle package built around a 13" brushed rubber handle with a radius bend on a 28mm-diameter aluminium core. The radius bend resists handle roll under load and gives bent-end material outside the main grip — useful when you mis-grab the bar coming through the gate.

The mainline is tournament-grade 80-strand 3/8" Poly-P with nine take-off sections at 15', 22', 28', 32', 35', 38', 39.5', and 41' off — full shortening range for club-level and competitive course skiing. A heatshrink finger protector at the bar attachment seals where wear shows up first.

Choose the Pro Short V Radius Rope and Handle if you ski the course and want anti-roll handle geometry in a full rope-and-handle package without going to the higher-tier Ergo Anti-Roll.

A water ski rope is defined by its construction, number of shortening sections, and bridle style. Recreational ropes use low-stretch polypropylene with a wide bridle for stability, while tournament mainlines use pre-stretched or knotless sections for consistent, repeatable shortening lengths. Match the rope to your discipline — combo and recreational skiing, slalom, or trick — and pair it with a suitable handle.
A regulation water ski mainline is 23 metres (75 feet) to the handle at its longest, and is divided into shortening sections or loops that let skiers reduce the length as speed and skill increase. Some recreational ropes are a single fixed length. Check the individual product listing for its exact length and section breakdown.
Rinse in fresh water after each use and dry before storing. Coil the rope loosely — tight coiling can set kinks that affect performance. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct UV exposure to preserve the rope and the handle grip. Inspect section connections for wear before each session.
