The Radar Vapor Carbon Bar Lock 13" is a tournament slalom water ski handle built around G10 carbon BarLock endcaps. The carbon endcaps hold the bar's shape under heavy pull where rubberised endcaps deform, eliminating handle rotation through the pass.

The bridle uses Spectra Fusion rope rather than standard polypropylene — the non-stretch construction reduces line stretch and gives you a more consistent pull length-to-length. Pre-stretched and BarLock-attached, the rope ties around the outside of the bar so the line locks the bar in position the moment it tightens. Ships in three diameters.

Ski handle grips are typically EVA or rubber. EVA grips give a secure, comfortable hold in wet conditions with less hand fatigue, while rubber grips are hard-wearing. Most adult slalom handles are 13" wide to suit average hand spans, with narrower widths available for smaller hands. Check the product listing for each handle's grip material and width.
Standalone handles are sold without a mainline — the rope is purchased separately. Rope-and-handle packages include both. Check the product title and description to confirm whether you're buying a handle only, a mainline only, or a complete package.
Rinse your handle in fresh water after every use to remove chlorine, salt, and lake sediment. Store it out of direct sunlight, as UV exposure degrades EVA grip material over time. Inspect the end caps and line connections regularly for wear before each session.
