Ronix Blunt Nose Skimmer Wakesurfer (2022)
Description
Skim board performance / Longboard stability.......
Ronix Element Core Blunt Nose Skimmer Wakesurfer
The feel of a thin profile, sharp rail, pintail traditional skimmer, but has the nose of a
wide longboard so you can jump on the throttle quicker, easier, and with more stability. This design opens up an entire spectrum of tricks you only would find possible on a skimmer – but with the stability and controlled speed of a traditional surfer. Now you can ride a skimmer even on a smaller size wake and feel more confident with your tricks from the blunt nose shape. A Paulownia wood exterior mixed with our lightweight surf core. Where science and nature meet.
Available Sizes: 4'2", 4'6", 4'10"
PERFORMANCE: ADVANCED | INTERMEDIATE
CONSTRUCTION: Element Core
THICKNESS: THIN
RAIL: HARD
SKIMMER
A fast-responsive style of board where the rider’s body position is centered with a more balanced body. These sharp rail, thin profiled boards react quicker for riders that don’t have a lot of time to waste. Preferred by surfers that like to have more feel with their board itself – and not just the fins. They can break free easier for 360’s on the water or shuvits off the water. A more forgiving style of board when riding behind a steep wake because you typically ride this style of board at a shorter length (making it less likely to dunk the nose). Because of how speedy these models are – you can get away with a shorter, lightweight board.
Features
- Front Pad - Wax Mat Direct
- Rear Pad – Machined EVA
- Arch Support & Extra Tall Tail Wedge
- New Floating Fins with a Tool-Less Stronger Fin-S Spring System
- 1 Fiberglass Symmetric 2.5” Fin
