Connelly C1 Slalom Ski

The engineering process is complete! The all-new C1 is the result of long hours of athlete testing, feedback & design. A wider tip & tunnel, different sidewall heights in the tip & tail, new flex & rocker patterns and the reliable V-Tech & Versatail combine to create a ski unlike any other. Handcrafted in the Connelly Factory, the C1 is the latest in a 58-year legacy of excellence. Experience the pinnacle of ski performance with the Connelly C1 Slalom Ski!

VERSATAIL
While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Connelly's patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the DV8.

STOCK VT - Designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake.

SQUARE VS - A square tail shape that adds lift, support and provides a clean release off the wake.

ROUND VR - The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the waterinto the turn, addingcontrol at higher speedsfor quicker turns and reduced taill blowout.

ROUND TO SQUARE VRS - Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on left turns and
provides more tip pressure on the right hand turns. This may benefit the skier on their
onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style.

SQUARE TO ROUND VSR - Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on right turns
and provides more tip pressure on the left hand turns. This may benefit the
skier on their onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style.

Available Sizes: 63, 65", 66", 67", 68"

Yes. The Connelly C1 is a tournament-level slalom ski developed through athlete testing, with a wider tip and tunnel, new flex and rocker patterns and the VersaTail system. It is built for advanced and 3-event skiers running a slalom course at speed.
The Connelly C1 uses a low-density, CNC-cut PVC core, a 90/10 carbon and fiberglass layup and Speed V-Tech with a wide tunnel and variable bevel. Its VersaTail blocks let you fine-tune water flow off the tail, changing how the ski holds and releases through each turn.
These are sold as a blank, meaning the ski on its own without boots, so you can choose and fit your own bindings - typically a front boot with a rear boot or a rear toe plate (RTP). If you would prefer a ski that comes complete with boots fitted, shop our Slalom Water Skis collection; otherwise pick a blank here and add the bindings you want. Our team can help you put together a complete setup.
Slalom ski size is based on both your body weight and the boat speed you ski at: heavier skiers and higher speeds need a longer ski, while lighter skiers or slower speeds suit a shorter one. Most manufacturers publish a size chart based on weight and speed, and our team can help you match the right length. Check the size guide or fin and tech information on the listing.
