The Hyperlite Majik Karpet Carbon kit is a complete assembly with a carbon front wing, a carbon MK 210 rear wing, a 62cm carbon fuselage and a 72cm carbon mast. The all-carbon mast and fuse make it lighter and stiffer than the alloy version.
The Hyperlite Majik Karpet Carbon kit is built for expert foil riders. Its full carbon construction suits skilled riders chasing sharp turns and wake hacks, with a blend of pumping and turning that rewards confident, experienced foil boarders.
The Hyperlite Majik Karpet Carbon front wing comes in 1200cm2 and 1500cm2 sizes. The 1200cm2 wing favours sharp turns and manoeuvrability, while the 1500cm2 wing gives maximum lift and works well on smaller wakes.
Wakefoiling means riding a board fitted with a hydrofoil - a mast with wings that lifts the board clear of the water so you glide silently above the surface behind the boat, and can even ride the boat's wake without a rope. The large front wing provides lift, the smaller rear wing (stabiliser) controls pitch, and the mast connects the foil to the board. It takes some practice, but the ride is smooth and low-impact once you are flying.
