The Hyperlite Majik Karpet Alloy kit is a complete assembly with a carbon front wing, a carbon MK 210 rear wing, an aluminium 62cm fuselage and an aluminium 72cm mast. The aluminium mast and fuse make it more affordable and hard-wearing than the full-carbon version.
The Hyperlite Majik Karpet Alloy kit is aimed at expert foil riders. It carries carbon wings for sharp turns and wake hacks, while the aluminium mast and fuse give a durable setup for skilled riders who want strong performance.
The Hyperlite Majik Karpet Alloy front wing comes in 1200cm2 and 1500cm2 sizes. The 1200cm2 wing suits sharp turns and manoeuvrability, while the 1500cm2 wing delivers maximum lift and performs well on smaller wakes.
Wakefoiling means riding a board fitted with a hydrofoil - a mast with wings that lifts the board clear of the water so you glide silently above the surface behind the boat, and can even ride the boat's wake without a rope. The large front wing provides lift, the smaller rear wing (stabiliser) controls pitch, and the mast connects the foil to the board. It takes some practice, but the ride is smooth and low-impact once you are flying.
