The Liquid Force Ace Skim comes in two sizes, 52 inches and 56 inches. Lighter riders suit the 52-inch board, while heavier riders lean toward the 56-inch for more float. Our wakesurf size guide helps you match length to your weight and skill.
The Liquid Force Ace Skim pairs Dura-Surf construction with an ultra-light Aero core and carbon twill lamination for a fast, agile board. A flat-to-slight-V hull, shallow swallow tail, dual-texture EVA deck and a single skim-style fin keep it loose and quick to spin.
The Liquid Force Ace Skim is a dedicated skim-style board. Its slim, lightweight profile, flat-to-slight-V hull and single skim fin make it spin and slide freely, favouring quick, skatey tricks over the drawn-out carving of a surf shape.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board.
