      An L50S is certified to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S (PFD 3) and comes in any colour — the common choice for waterskiing, wakeboarding and tubing. Where it can be used is set by your state — see our state-by-state life vest guide.
      L50 and L50S carry the same buoyancy. The difference is colour: an L50 must be high-visibility, which is why PWC riders often wear them, while an L50S comes in any colour and is the usual pick for towed watersports.       It comes in teen sizes 8, 10, 12 and 14 (Y8-Y14) with a custom-tailored cut. Fit it snug with the buckle and zip done up so it cannot ride up in the water.
      It is a tailored junior and teen vest for young wakeboarders and skiers who want mobility. Four-way stretch neoprene, a neoprene skirt and a single buckle and zip closure keep it snug and flexible.
      Rinse your vest in fresh water after every use and let it drip-dry out of direct sunlight before storing it dry. Check the straps, buckles, zips and foam regularly, and retire any vest with damaged fittings or compressed foam, as this can reduce its buoyancy and safety.
