The Armstrong UPF Hooded Top has a UPF 50+ rating with a built-in hood for continuous head and neck sun coverage and thumbhole cuffs that keep the sleeves down over the backs of your hands. Made from an 88% polyester, 12% spandex blend for stretch. Sizes S-2XL.
The thumbhole cuffs on the Armstrong UPF Hooded Top hook over your thumbs to stop the sleeves riding up, keeping the backs of your hands and wrists covered from the sun. The built-in hood adds continuous coverage for your head through the day.
Rashies are made from quick-drying Lycra/spandex fabric and typically carry a UPF 50+ rating, blocking the large majority of UV to protect skin during a full day on the water. The snug, lightweight fabric stays comfortable in and out of the water. Check each product's listing for its exact UPF rating.
Rashies are cut to fit snugly for UV protection and comfort, so size by chest measurement using the brand's size guide rather than loose everyday clothing sizes. For children, size by age and chest measurement. If you prefer a looser fit, size up.
Rinse your rashie in fresh water after each use to remove chlorine and salt, then dry in the shade. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle if needed, and avoid bleach, fabric softener, and high-heat drying, which break down the fabric and any print over time.
