It is a 3.5-inch replacement quick-release pin that secures the clamps and fittings on Barefoot International booms. Quick-release pins let you assemble and remove boom sections quickly without tools.
It fits all Barefoot International booms and fittings that use a 3.5-inch pin. Barefoot International also makes 2-inch and 3-inch pins for different clamp positions, so match the pin length to the fitting you are replacing.
Rinse boom bars, extensions and fittings in fresh water after use, especially in salt water, and dry them before storage. Keep the quick-release pins releasing smoothly with a light clear silicone grease, and check that set screws, clamps and cables are tight and undamaged before each session.
