Fits over the boom cables and turnbuckle to prevent them rubbing against the boat when connected to the bow eye. Keeps your hull protected while you ride. It is a 36 inch nylon-wrapped styrofoam sleeve, with Velcro on one side and a zip tie on the other, that fits over the boom cables and turnbuckle to stop them rubbing against the boat when connected to the bow eye.
It is 36 inches long with a 1.75 inch inside diameter and a 3 inch outside diameter.
A barefoot boom is a rigid bar that extends out from the side of the boat so a skier can hold on close to the hull while learning and practising barefooting. It keeps the skier in clean water beside the boat and lets a coach watch and talk them through technique, which is why booms are the standard tool for learning barefoot starts.
