Connelly Bio V Slalom Ski

Connelly enhanced one of the most sophisticated skis available with the Bio V Slalom Ski, crafted in the U.S.A. and featuring Versatail for a personalized experience. Incorporating Connelly's newest slalom designs, core innovations, fiber combinations, and V-Tech, this ski surpasses other mid-range models. The Skelecore technology reduces core weight, enabling quicker, more natural flexing of the fibers. Its balanced 50/50 carbon and glass blend offers a lightweight, responsive feel while effectively dampening vibrations when crossing wakes.

VERSATAIL
While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Connelly's patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the V.

VT= Connelly's stock tail shape — designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake.
VS= The square tail provides more support at the tail, keeping the tip down through the turn and generating more speed between the buoys.
VR=The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the water into the turn, adding control at higher speeds for quicker turns and reduced tail blowouts.

Sizes: 65", 67", 69"

CONNELLY TEMPEST SKI BINDING

The Tempest binding features a redesigned wrap with fewer seams to create a more cohesive fit around your foot. 3D molding increases rigidity in key areas for added response, creating a better connection between you and your ski. Dual lace zones let you customize fit over the top of your foot and around your ankle. Connelly molded toe features a stretch panel ensuring that it stays flush on any foot whether it’s narrow, wide, tall, or short.

Available Sizes: 4-7, 7-9, 9-11, 12-14

The Connelly Bio V comes in 65, 67 and 69 inch lengths. Pick your size from your weight and the speed you ski. Heavier riders and lower speeds suit the 69, while lighter riders running faster suit the 65. The Bio V has a suggested speed range of 30 to 34 mph.
The Connelly Bio V is a mid-range slalom ski for intermediate skiers running 30 to 34 mph. Its Skelecore construction lowers core weight for quicker, more natural flex, while a balanced 50/50 carbon and glass blend keeps it light and responsive and dampens vibration across the wake.
The Connelly Bio V carries the VersaTail system for tuning tail release, plus V-Tech step base technology and a polished speed base. The 50/50 carbon and glass layup gives a light, responsive ride, and the Viper fin system with foil helps you hold a clean line through the turn.
Slalom ski size is based on both your body weight and the boat speed you ski at: heavier skiers and higher speeds need a longer ski, while lighter skiers or slower speeds suit a shorter one. Most manufacturers publish a size chart based on weight and speed, and our team can help you match the right length. Check the size guide or fin and tech information on the listing.
Some slalom skis are sold as a complete package with boots and a rear toe plate fitted, while others are sold as the ski only so you can add your own bindings. Check the product title and description to see what's included.
