Connelly C1 Slalom Ski

Years of steadfast effort have culminated in the launch of the new C1. Its optimized design, with a wide tip and tunnel, revised sidewall elevation in the tip and tail, and updated rocker and flex patterns, will take your skiing to new heights. With its revolutionary V-Tech and Versatail technologies, which have been honed through rigorous athlete testing and feedback, the C1 ensures that Connelly's 58-year legacy of progress remains untarnished. Assembled with scrupulous care and attention at the Connelly Factory in the Pacific Northwest.

VERSATAIL
While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Connelly's patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the DV8.

STOCK VT - Designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake.

SQUARE VS - A square tail shape that adds lift, support and provides a clean release off the wake.

ROUND VR - The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the waterinto the turn, addingcontrol at higher speedsfor quicker turns and reduced taill blowout.

ROUND TO SQUARE VRS - Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on left turns and
provides more tip pressure on the right hand turns. This may benefit the skier on their
onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style.

SQUARE TO ROUND VSR - Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on right turns
and provides more tip pressure on the left hand turns. This may benefit the
skier on their onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style.

Available Sizes: 63, 65", 66", 67", 68"

CONNELLY TEMPEST SKI BINDING

The Tempest binding features a redesigned wrap with fewer seams to create a more cohesive fit around your foot. 3D molding increases rigidity in key areas for added response, creating a better connection between you and your ski. Dual lace zones let you customize fit over the top of your foot and around your ankle. Connelly molded toe features a stretch panel ensuring that it stays flush on any foot whether it’s narrow, wide, tall, or short.

Available Sizes: 4-7, 7-9, 9-11, 12-14

The Connelly C1 comes in 63, 65, 66, 67 and 68 inch lengths. Longer skis suit heavier riders and lower speeds, while shorter skis suit lighter riders and higher line speeds. Match your length to your body weight and the speed you run for the best hold through the course.
Yes. The Connelly C1 is a high-end tournament slalom ski built for advanced and three-event skiers. It runs a low-density PVC core with a 90/10 carbon and fiberglass layup, plus V-Tech and the VersaTail system, giving the precision and edge hold needed to run the course at speed.
The Connelly C1 pairs a wide tip and wide tunnel with adjusted sidewall height and refined rocker and flex for strong edge hold. Its VersaTail system includes interchangeable tail blocks, so skiers can fine-tune how water releases off the tail to match their turns. Each ski is built at the Connelly factory.
Slalom ski size is based on both your body weight and the boat speed you ski at: heavier skiers and higher speeds need a longer ski, while lighter skiers or slower speeds suit a shorter one. Most manufacturers publish a size chart based on weight and speed, and our team can help you match the right length. Check the size guide or fin and tech information on the listing.
Some slalom skis are sold as a complete package with boots and a rear toe plate fitted, while others are sold as the ski only so you can add your own bindings. Check the product title and description to see what's included.
