This Ex-Demo Ronix Brightside is a single 5'2" board. As a hybrid wakesurfer it suits a broad weight range and all levels; check our wakesurf size guide to confirm 5'2" works for your weight, as ex-demo stock is one size only.
The Ronix Brightside is an all-levels hybrid wakesurfer with a light Standard Core and hard rails. It handles deep-water starts and wakeboard-inspired tricks, working as a versatile one-board option for riders wanting to cover both surfing and tricks.
Yes. The Ronix Brightside comes with two adjustable removable straps, so you can ride it strapped for airs and wakeboard-style tricks or take the straps off for traditional strapless surfing — part of what makes it a flexible one-board choice.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
