The Fly High Male Quick Connect is a ballast plumbing fitting that provides a male quick connect port for joining hoses and ballast bags within the Fly High quick connect system. It enables fast, tool-free hose connection in wake boat ballast systems.
In quick connect systems, the male fitting is the protruding plug end that inserts into the female socket. The male fitting typically attaches to the pump or hose outlet, while the female socket connects to the bag or next fitting in the run.
The Fly High quick connect system uses specific dimensions — check the fitting profile against your existing system before purchasing. Many Fatsac and Fly High products share compatible fittings, but other brand systems may differ.
Attach the barb end to your hose using a hose clamp, or thread onto a threaded port using the appropriate thread type. Ensure all connections are tight and test at low pump pressure for leaks before running the ballast system at full flow.
Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and inspect for cracking, UV degradation, or damaged sealing surfaces. Replace any fitting that shows wear or no longer seals reliably — a leaking ballast connection can allow water to enter the boat's bilge.
