The Fatsac Side Sac Ballast Bag Pair is a matched set of two Pro X Series ballast bags designed to fit symmetrically on the sides of a wake boat's rear storage areas. Buying as a pair ensures balanced weight distribution on both sides of the boat.
Side Sac bags are designed to fit along the sides of the rear passenger area or alongside the engine in direct-drive boats. Their shape maximises the use of spaces that standard square bags cannot fully occupy.
A Fatsac Tsunami submersible ballast pump is required to fill and drain the Side Sac bags. The pump is not included. The bags use Fatsac's standard quick-connect fittings compatible with the Tsunami pump range.
Yes — using one Side Sac on the surf side creates the uneven weight distribution needed to generate a larger wakesurf wave on that side. Many surfers use asymmetric ballast with extra weight on the surf side for a bigger, cleaner wave.
Drain both bags fully after each session and allow to dry before storage. Inspect seams and fittings regularly for leaks. Store flat away from UV and avoid sharp objects that could puncture the PVC material.
