The Fatsac V-Drive Ballast Bag Pair is sold as a set of two matching ballast bags designed to fit symmetrically in the rear lockers of v-drive wakeboard boats. Buying a pair ensures even weight distribution on both sides of the engine.
The Fatsac V-Drive Ballast Bag Pair is designed specifically for the rear locker compartments found in most v-drive wakeboard boats. Check the bag dimensions against your locker measurements before purchasing to confirm fitment for your specific model.
Yes — using one bag on one side creates an uneven weight distribution that pushes the boat down on that side, producing a larger surf wave on the same side. This is a common technique for wakesurfing when you prefer a bigger wave on a specific side.
A submersible ballast pump is required to fill and drain Fatsac bags. The Fatsac Tsunami pump range is purpose-built for this application. Pump and hose connections are not included with the bags and must be purchased separately.
After each use, fully drain the bags and allow them to dry before storing. Avoid leaving water sitting in the bags long-term as this can promote mildew growth. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct UV exposure to extend the life of the PVC material.
