How to fit your vest
Yes — the Follow Section is certified to Australian Standards Level 50S (PFD 3) for towed watersports on smooth waters, boat or cable, and it's also legal on a PWC in smooth water zones. For riding beyond smooth waters, Follow makes the Section in a red high-visibility Level 50 version.
The Section is built on Follow's Division silhouette — one of the brand's best-selling vest shapes — in Dual-S neoprene with dual-layer construction, featherweight foam, a YKK locker zipper and TrueFit liner. It's a relaxed fit favoured by rider James Windsor.
The Follow Section runs mens XS through 3XL, in Black, Stone and Black/Petina — this listing is the Black colourway. Chest and arm openings are engineered per size, so larger and smaller sizes keep the same fit character.
L50 and L50S carry the same buoyancy. The difference is colour: an L50 must be high-visibility, which is why PWC riders often wear them, while an L50S comes in any colour and is the usual pick for towed watersports. Life vests are sized by chest measurement and weight (and by age for children). Match your measurements to the brand's size chart and do it up fully — a correctly sized vest is snug and won't ride up over your face when you lift at the shoulders. Check every buckle and strap holds firm.
Rinse the vest in fresh water after each use and dry it in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Check the buckles, straps, stitching, and flotation before each outing, and replace the vest if any part is damaged or the flotation is compromised.
