No — the Hyperlite Rubber Wrap is a light neoprene cover for between-session use and rack storage, not full transit protection. It has a padded shoulder strap and reinforced handle for short walks, but for flights or heavy transport choose a padded board bag.
A wakeboard bag or cover shields your board from dings, scratches, and UV between sessions and in transit. Padded bags add impact protection for travel, while lighter covers and sleeves guard against sun and knocks around the boat and car.
Board bags are sized by length, so check the bag's fit range against your board. Many padded bags have room to fit a board with bindings still attached, while slimmer sleeves and covers may need bindings removed. Check the product listing for the fit and whether bindings can stay on.
Empty the bag and let it air out after use, rinsing it if it has carried wet gear or salt. Dry it fully before storage to prevent mould, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the fabric, zips, and wheels.
