Jabsco Ballast Puppy Pump Impeller
The Jabsco green compound impeller is the latest generation wakeboard ballast impeller designed specifically for use in all Jabsco 18220 Ballast Puppy pumps. OEM impeller for Mastercraft, Correct Craft (Air Nautique), Supra, Moomba, Yamaha, Centurion, and others.
If your system is having problems filling or draining correctly, or water is leaking into or out of tanks while pumps are off, replacing the impeller will resolve these issues. Also a direct replacement for the now-discontinued black and yellow compound impellers.
Impellers are wear components — over time pump efficiency reduces as the impeller wears down, meaning your ballast system will take longer to fill and drain. Replacing a worn impeller restores the pump to like-new speed and functionality.

Saviour of the wake
I purchased this as the impeller on our Jabsco ballast pump disintegrated. Probably my fault as I forgot to open the water inlet valve - woops, the poor thing would’ve cooked. It’s a tight fit but was easy enough to install. Didn’t need the provided lubricant. I watched the video online as a guide. The key thing is to ensure the blades are installed tilted clockwise.
