The Jetpilot Vault Race Jacket is a neoprene race top for PWC racers and competitive wakeboarders. It uses 2mm 360 Stretch limestone neoprene that flexes through cuts and carves, with anti-pump cuff panels that lock water out so you stay warm and unrestricted. Sizes XS-XL, in three colourways.
The anti-pump panels on the Jetpilot Vault Race Jacket seal the cuffs to stop water flushing in and pumping through the jacket during a session, keeping you warmer and less weighed down. A full-length YKK zip and flat-lock stitching add fast entry and low-chafe comfort over long sessions.
Neoprene thickness is chosen for water temperature. Thinner neoprene (around 1.5–2 mm), as used in neo shorts and spring suits, suits warmer conditions and maximises flexibility, while thicker 3 mm and steamer-weight suits add warmth for cooler Australian water. Check each product's listing for its specific thickness.
Neoprene should fit snugly with no loose gaps, as trapped water reduces warmth — a tight fit is correct and eases slightly with use. Size using the brand's size chart for the garment (full suits use height and chest or weight; shorts use waist and hip). If you're between sizes, size up for comfort during longer sessions.
Rinse in fresh water after every use and dry in the shade, never in a tumble dryer or direct sunlight, which degrade neoprene over time. Avoid sharp folding — hang on a wide hanger. A light application of neoprene conditioner at the start of each season helps extend its life.
