Description

Jetpilot Vault Race Helmet

Yellow is the colourway that actively does a job on the water. In a race pack, a busy waterway, or any scenario where you want to be seen by a chase boat, a driver, or other riders, yellow reads faster than any other colour at distance. The Vault performance package is the same across colourways: DOT and CE certified impact protection, Conehead Technology engineering that produces measurably lower G-loads in crashes, and a lightweight construction that doesn't fatigue your neck across a long day's riding.

Conehead works by compressing lateral cones in the inner foam on impact, spreading force sideways through the outer shell instead of straight into your skull. The result is the same protection rating as heavier conventional helmets, in a lighter package. Perforated Aeroprene liner drains and dries fast, so the helmet isn't sitting wet between sessions.

For riders who want maximum visibility plus race-grade impact tech.

Available Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL

Available Colours: Black, Red, Yellow, White

Watersports helmets are designed to reduce impact from falls and water entry at speed, but certification varies by model — not every wake helmet is certified to a formal impact standard, and coverage differs between brands. Check the individual product's listing for its specific certification and intended use, and always replace a helmet after a significant impact.
Watersports helmets are designed for wakeboarding, wakesurfing, cable park riding, water skiing, and PWC use, where head protection matters during falls and at speed. They're built for water-impact profiles and aren't a substitute for a certified cycling or skateboarding helmet on land.
Some watersports helmets have built-in ear covers while others are open-ear or accept removable ear-flap accessories. Ear covers help reduce the sting of water entry during falls and cut wind and water noise at speed. Check the product listing to see whether ear protection is included or available separately.
Measure your head circumference at the widest point, about 2cm above your eyebrows, and match it to the brand's size chart. A helmet should fit snugly without pressure points and not move around when you shake your head. If you're between sizes, try the larger size for comfort.
Rinse your helmet in fresh water after every use and let it air dry out of direct sunlight, which degrades the shell and padding over time. Check the shell, padding, and strap for damage before each session, and replace the helmet after any significant impact, as its protection can be compromised even if damage isn't visible.
