Jetpilot X Heatley Mens Life Jacket

You want a life jacket that keeps you safe without holding you back. This collaboration between Jetpilot and Australian Legends the Heatley brothers,  delivers exactly that. The Jetpilot X Heatley Mens Life Vest in Blue is built from 100% ecoprene with an anatomical mens fit that moves freely through every manoeuvre — whether you're water skiing or wakeboarding.

The blue colourway is a bold, distinctive choice that stands out on the water. Lightweight, low-profile construction keeps the vest comfortable across long sessions, and the secure close system stays locked in through the hardest riding. Backed by the Heatley's input as  world class competitors who demand gear that performs at the highest level. Certified to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S (PFD 3) — the level built for towed watersports like skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and tubing. Where you can use it varies by state and water type — see what life vest you need in each state before you ride.

Choose the X Heatley Mens Life Vest Blue if you want collaboration-grade performance in an L50S certified life vest or life jacket built for serious riders.

Australian Standards Level 50S Approved

How to fit your vest
Yes — the X Heatley is certified to Australian Standards Level 50S (PFD 3) for towed watersports on smooth waters. It's also legal on a PWC in smooth water zones; beyond smooth waters, jetski riders need a high-visibility Level 50.
The X Heatley is a Jetpilot signature-series collaboration with the Heatley waterskiing name, built in 100% ecoprene with an anatomical mens fit, Freelite bevelled-edge buoyancy foam and a PK Lok zipper — a low-profile vest shaped by competition-level skiing.
The Jetpilot X Heatley comes in mens sizes S through 2XL, in Black or Blue — this listing is the Blue colourway.
L50 and L50S carry the same buoyancy. The difference is colour: an L50 must be high-visibility, which is why PWC riders often wear them, while an L50S comes in any colour and is the usual pick for towed watersports. Which one is approved where depends on your state — see our state-by-state life vest guide.
Life vests are sized by chest measurement and weight (and by age for children). Match your measurements to the brand's size chart and do it up fully — a correctly sized vest is snug and won't ride up over your face when you lift at the shoulders. Check every buckle and strap holds firm.
Rinse the vest in fresh water after each use and dry it in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Check the buckles, straps, stitching, and flotation before each outing, and replace the vest if any part is damaged or the flotation is compromised.
