The Jetpilot Youth Springsuit is 2mm neoprene — a springsuit cut with shorter arms and legs, giving young riders warmth for milder conditions without the bulk or restriction of a full steamer. A back-zip entry makes it easy to get on and off.
A springsuit is a short-arm or short-leg wetsuit for warmer water, giving freedom of movement with less coverage, while a steamer is a full-length suit covering the arms and legs for colder water. Choose a springsuit for summer sessions and a steamer when the water turns cold.
Kids wetsuits are sized by age or height and should fit snugly with no loose gaps, since a baggy suit lets cold water flush through. Use the brand's size chart against your child's height and weight, and choose a firm but comfortable fit rather than room to grow.
