A slalom course buoy is an inflatable marker used to set out a slalom ski course. Skiers round these buoys on each pass, so they mark the turning points that define the course layout on the water.
This buoy measures around 8 to 9 inches, a typical size for slalom skier turn buoys. Check the product description for the exact size and colour, and match it to the buoys already in your course.
Slalom buoys are inflated and anchored in the standard course layout, spaced to the official slalom dimensions. Use the correct anchoring line and weight for the water depth so each buoy holds its position for consistent passes.
Rinse it in fresh water to remove grit and check it holds air before a session. Store it out of prolonged direct sun, which fades and weakens the material over time, and repair or replace any buoy that will not stay inflated.
