IP54 rated — protected against water intrusion from any direction. Connection options include external 1" standard or 1/2" NPT female for smaller hose configurations.

Suitable for new ballast system installations or as an upgrade to existing systems. Important: with a 14A draw, a high-capacity alternator is required.

A ballast pump moves water into and out of your boat's ballast bags to add weight and shape the wake for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. Aerator-style and reversible impeller pumps are common, with higher flow rates filling and draining bags faster.
Flow rate (measured in gallons per minute) determines how quickly bags fill and drain — higher GPM means shorter waits between sets. Match the pump's flow to your total ballast volume and plumbing size. Check the product listing for the pump's rated flow.
Many ballast pumps are reversible, filling bags from the lake and pumping them back out to drain. Some setups use separate fill and drain pumps. Check the product to confirm whether it's reversible or fill-only.
Most boat ballast pumps run on the boat's 12V DC system, wired to a switch or ballast controller. Check the product listing for the pump's voltage and current draw so you can wire it correctly and protect it with the right fuse.
Flush the pump with fresh water after saltwater use, and check the impeller periodically for wear or damage — a worn impeller reduces flow and can fail. Keep intake strainers clear of debris, and replace the impeller as a service part when flow drops.
