The Obrien Kneeboard Tow Hook is a replacement or upgrade tow point that attaches to the front of your kneeboard. It provides a secure connection point for the tow rope during kneeboarding, distributing pull force evenly across the board.
The Obrien Kneeboard Tow Hook is designed for OBrien kneeboard models, but may also fit other kneeboards with a compatible mounting hole pattern. Check the dimensions of the mounting points on your board against the hook hardware before purchasing.
The tow hook bolts through the mounting holes at the front nose of the kneeboard using the included hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely and check for any play in the hook before each session on the water.
Yes — a cracked, bent, or loose tow hook can fail under load during a run and cause loss of control. Inspect the tow hook before every session and replace it immediately if you notice any cracking, deformation, or looseness in the mounting.
Rinse the tow hook and all hardware in fresh water after saltwater or lake use. Check bolts for corrosion and replace if needed. A stainless steel hook will resist corrosion better in marine environments — inspect the surface for rust or pitting regularly.
