The Liquid Force Primo suits intermediate riders who want one versatile board they can adapt on the fly. Designed by Tommy C and his R&D team, it delivers dependable performance from the first ride and switches between a surf-style twin fin and a skim-style single rear fin to match your mood.
The Liquid Force Primo comes in 4'0", 4'5", 4'10" and 5'3". Lighter riders and groms suit the shorter boards, while heavier riders gain float and drive on the longer sizes. Our wakesurf size guide matches length to your weight and skill.
The Liquid Force Primo is built on a CNC'd EPS foam core with a single-to-double concave hull and quad tail channels for drive. Its three fin setup is meant to ride as a twin or single fin, and the compact footprint stacks easily in a crowded board rack.
The Liquid Force Primo is a hybrid you can set either way. Run the twin fins for a surf-style feel with more drive and hold, or drop to the single rear fin for a looser, skim-style ride that spins and slides more freely across the wave.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board.
