The Masterline Outboard Bridle Standard is a tow bridle that attaches to two stern points on an outboard motor boat, creating a centred tow point for water skiing and tubing. It provides a balanced pull angle and keeps the rope clear of the motor.
The Standard bridle is shorter than the XL version, making it suited to boats where the motor does not protrude far behind the transom. The XL provides more clearance for larger outboard motors or boats where extra length is needed to clear the motor.
Yes — the bridle is suitable for both skiing and tube towing. Ensure the bridle's load rating is appropriate for your intended use. Multi-rider tube towing generates significantly higher loads than single-skier towing.
Clip the bridle ends to the port and starboard stern cleats or tow hooks on your boat. The V-shape centres the tow point at the boat's midline. Check that all clips are fully secured before heading out — a failed clip under load is a safety hazard.
Rinse in fresh water after every use and inspect all clips, shackles, and rope sections for wear, corrosion, or fraying. Replace immediately if any component is damaged — a bridle failure under towing load is a serious safety risk.
