Radar Carbitex Vapor Boa Slalom Ski Boot

This slalom ski boot is built for intermediate to advanced riders who want direct feedback from edge to edge and need a boot that responds instantly to input. If you're progressing past beginner level and looking to dial in your technique on the course, the Vapor Boa delivers the precision connection you need.

The Carbitex carbon fiber cuff wraps your ankle with lateral support that translates your movements directly to the ski, while the reinforced toe box sharpens how energy flows through the tip. This means cleaner turns and more control when you're pushing harder behind the boat. The BOA M4 Fit System lets you dial your fit exactly where you need it—no guessing, no loose spots, so your foot stays locked in through the entire set.

The Intuition heat-moldable liner molds to your foot shape for a custom fit, and the stiffer SuperFabric tongue keeps your ankle supported without dead spots. Wrap Tech bonds the boot's skeleton to the liner so the whole boot moves as one unit with your foot, giving you responsive feel on every edge change.

Choose the Vapor Boa if you're serious about slalom and want a boot that rewards technique with immediate feedback.

Vapor Chassis
A three-part mold creates a rigid lower skeleton that gives you hard-shell control while keeping the fit and comfort of a hybrid boot.

Carbitex
Carbon fiber textile that reacts faster than standard materials, creating a direct connection between your foot and ski.

Boa
Quick-dial fit system that locks your foot in place with one-handed adjustment.

Intuition
Heat-moldable liner that forms to your foot for a personalized fit and lightweight performance.

Wrap Tech
Fuses the boot's external frame to the liner so your foot and boot move as a single responsive unit.

It's a hybrid. The Vapor Chassis uses a three-part mold to create a rigid lower skeleton that gives you hard-shell control while keeping the fit and comfort of a hybrid boot. A Carbitex carbon-fibre cuff wraps your ankle with lateral support and a reinforced toe box sharpens energy through the tip, for intermediate to advanced skiers who want direct edge-to-edge feedback. Closed-toe, with the BOA M4 Fit System.
Yes. The Intuition heat-moldable liner forms to your foot shape for a custom fit, and Wrap Tech fuses the boot's external frame to the liner so foot and boot move as a single responsive unit. The stiffer SuperFabric tongue supports your ankle without dead spots.
Slalom ski bindings are sized by your everyday shoe size, and most open-toe boots cover a range (for example 7-11) rather than a single size — the open toe lets a spread of foot sizes fit comfortably. Check the size range listed on the product against your shoe size; if you're between ranges or buying for a growing junior, size up to the larger range. Closed-toe and hard-shell boots fit more precisely, closer to a single size.
Most modern slalom bindings mount to the ski's universal insert holes (the standard 6-inch pattern) or bolt onto a plate, so they fit the majority of current slalom skis. Always check your ski's hole pattern, and for a rear boot or rear toe plate, that it matches your front binding's mounting. Note that some rear boots and plates aren't cross-compatible between brands — for example, HO rear boots don't fit rear Radar or Connelly inserts — so confirm the combination before mixing brands.
A complete slalom setup needs a front binding (your front foot goes in fully) plus a rear. The rear can be a full rear boot, which holds your back foot like the front for the most control, or a rear toe plate (RTP) — a simple toe piece your back foot rests in rather than laces into. An RTP lets your back foot slide out more easily (useful for learning deep-water starts or skiing with one foot out), while a full rear boot locks you in for maximum edge control. Front bindings are usually sold separately from the rear.
